Relax in private on Bruny Island

Manfield offers two exlcusive holiday properties on Bruny Island. Both are modern, superior accommodation options for those looking for a quiet comfortable getaway in Tasmania. Both properties are within reasonable proximity to each other.

Manfield Seaside

Manfield Seaside is a modern, waterfront house at Alonnah on Tasmania's Bruny Island. It overlooks the D’Entrecasteau Channel, past Satellite Island towards Tasmania’s mountainous South West. The beach can be directly accessed from the sea side of the property. Just walk out on to the beach or the quaint marina.

The spacious house is beautifully furnished and decorated and has accommodation for one or two couples. It is not suitable for children or smokers or pets. The views are world class and are constantly changing with weather conditions. You will probably see a pod of dolphins in the bay.

Manfield House

Manfield House is a country cottage situated on 60 acres of bush and beautiful green paddocks. The house is fully furnished with good quality furniture and is able to accommodate one or two adult couples. The kitchen is well equipped and you are likely to be greeted by the aroma of freshly baked bread on arrival. The wood fired stove is a lovely way to cook and keep warm. Outside there is a great wood fired pizza oven. The property also has a large reverse cycle heater for cooler nights.

Both bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds dressed with beautiful linen. There are TVs in both bedrooms and a large flat screen in the lounge. Wrap around verandahs make it easy to enjoy the outdoors, maybe with a glass of wine or two, and looking at the beautiful views of both country and ocean. You cannot see another house enabling complete "get away from it all" privacy.

Bruny Island

Bruny Island really is the greatest place to relax, unwind and enjoy the change from the bustle of every day life. Enjoy some great walks and wild life - wallabies, parrots, possums, wedge tail eagles, etc.
